Risk Management and Safety presenting Fire Safety Festival on Sept. 14

September is Campus Fire Safety Month, and Auburn University is gearing up for the first ever Fire Safety Festival on Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. RMS team members and volunteers will be set up around campus with games, giveawaysand prizes.
The Brain Burners Fire Safety Quiz will be on the Haley Concourse. Participants will be asked three questions related to fire safety. Those who answer correctly will get to spin the wheel to win a prize.
The Hot Shots Selfie Station will be set up at the Edge at Central Dining. Participants can snap a selfie and post it on social media or send it to a friend. Once they do, they win.
The Power P.A.S.S. station will be set up in the Melton Student Center. Here, participants will get firsthand experience fighting fires with the state-of-the-art extinguisher simulator. Once participants learn to P.A.S.S. then they win.
Punch-cards will be available at each station. Participants who visit all three stations on Sept. 14 can be entered to win a number of amazing grand prizes.
