Applications for the 2022-23 Auburn International Mentoring Program are due Sep. 16 to Kalani Long at Applications can be found under the “Applications” tab on the AIM website. To qualify for the AIM Program, students must have a sophomore or higher standing—sophomore by year in school, not by number of credits—and be in good standing with the university.

The AIM Program pairs select, motivated students with successful alumni living abroad for a meaningful one academic year mentorship. The program allows students to explore the opportunities and realities of living and working abroad with expert advice from a fellow member of the Auburn Family.

Once applications are reviewed, students chosen to advance to the next stage of the selection process will be interviewed by the Office of International Programs. Then, in late September, students selected for the 2022-2023 AIM Program will be notified and paired with a mentor.

“The AIM Program has truly changed my life and it has given me the most invaluable connections,” said Abigail, AIM student mentee. “My mentor has treated me like family and has been instrumental in organizing an international internship. The relationship I have cultivated through this program is a lifelong one. I cannot praise the program enough."
