The Auburn University-National Cheng Kung University Taiwan Center of Chinese Language and Culture, in the Office of International Programs, is hosting a Taiwanese Moon Festival on Sept. 9 from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. in 2222/2223 Student Center. The event is free and open to Auburn faculty, staff and students.

Attendees can expect to eat delicious mooncakes, participate in traditional activities and learn about Taiwanese history and culture.

The Taiwanese initiatives and recently opened AU-NCKU Taiwan Center of Chinese Language and Culture are the outcome of the joint agreement between Auburn, the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta. The goal of the agreement is to promote joint educational and cultural collaboration, and in turn establish a long-lasting friendship and cooperative partnership that enhances the educational experience at Auburn and NCKU.
