Increasingly, faculty both desire and are being asked to include greater awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, in our teaching. Many of us are working towards this goal with little guidance, support or experience. Biggio Center is offering the Building Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Into Your Teaching workshop led by Biggio faculty fellow, Tal Peretz, which will provide a structure and support for these efforts, focusing on making immediate, actionable changes to improve both DEI content and pedagogy in your classes. This event will take place on Zoom on Monday, Sept. 19, 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. Registration is required.
