Cary Center and River Region United Way to provide training for area nonprofits

The Auburn University College of Human Sciences’ Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is partnering with the River Region United Way to present a day of training for nonprofits in the Montgomery area. The program, titled “Grow Your Nonprofit: Resources to Maximize Impact”, will take place on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm CST at the American Red Cross (5015 Woods Crossing, Montgomery, AL 36106) and will include sessions on nonprofit accounting basics, fundraising and grant writing, and building effective partnerships. Lunch is provided. Registration is required and is $10 and can be made at aub.ie/RRgynp.

The Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies is an academic center in Auburn University’s College of Human Sciences with a focus on financial wellness, philanthropy engagement, and nonprofit studies.  The Cary Center inspires its participants to discover their purpose through learning, giving, and growing while empowering all generations to leave an enduring legacy.  The Community and Collegiate division of the Cary Center provides capacity-building resources to nonprofits to include educational programming, professional development, and networking.
