Office of International Programs opens registration for Chinese language classes

The Office of International Programs is offering several non-credit Chinese language classes this fall. All classes cost $100 and will be taught by Taiwanese visiting scholar. Level 1 participants do not need any previous experience speaking or writing in Mandarin to register. Level 3 participants should have previously completed a Level 1 class. Registration is open and available to all Auburn University faculty, staff and students. Space is limited per course, so register now at aub.ie/chinesefall22.

Below is a complete list of the class schedule.

- Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12 – 12:50 p.m.

- 242 Foy Hall

Level 1 – Online via Zoom

- Aug. 22 to Dec. 9

- Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 5 – 5:50 p.m.

Level 3 – Online via Zoom

- Aug. 23 to Dec. 8

- Tuesday and Thursday, 5 – 6:15 p.m.

The Chinese language classes are an outcome of the joint agreement between Auburn, the National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta. The goal of the agreement is to promote joint educational and cultural collaboration, and in turn establish a long-lasting friendship and cooperative partnership that enhances the educational experience at Auburn and NCKU.
