The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art’s Janet L. Nolan Director of Curatorial Affairs, Aaron Levi Garvey, is traveling to El Salvador, Mexico, this summer as part of an annual program to connect El Salvador contemporary artists with other artists, curators, directors, critics and philanthropists around the world.

This year, the Y.ES Contemporary has selected Garvey as part of its #YesProgram in order to introduce him to the fastest-growing artists in El Salvador. This opportunity not only benefits this outstanding community, but it also allows the university to connect globally with the movers and shakers of the next generation of groundbreaking creatives, bringing new insight and cultural development to Auburn.
