The latest episode from The Jule Museum Podcast presents Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Art History at Skidmore College, Mimi Hellman.

For faculty who are looking for new ways to spice up classroom engagement, Hellman offers a simple answer: museums. She goes into great detail about the educational benefits of teaching in a museum, and not only for artistic courses, but even for more logically focused traditions like math.

Auburn’s own Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art encourages faculty in the area to use the museum as a learning resource to give students a new environment in which to interact. To listen to the episode, visit here, or wherever podcasts can be accessed.
