Lambda Chi Alpha raised $12,000 for Eagle Ranch at this spring’s 16th annual Michael Allphin Memorial Golf Classic. The event provides an annual opportunity for alumni and active members to come together in philanthropy and brotherhood. Over the past 16 years, Lambda Chi Alpha has raised more than $125,000 for both the Eagles Ranch, a children’s home in Georgia, and Camp Smile-a-Mile, an organization dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancer.
The event is a favorite among Lamba Chi Alpha alumni and active members, providing an opportunity for them to share stories, mentorship and celebrate the organization’s traditions.
“I had a great time of fellowship at the 2022 golf tournament. I got to help raise money for Eagle Ranch, a very worthy organization,” Bill Lee, a 1970 chapter alumnus, said. “I laughed long and hard when I heard wild alumni stories about their time at Auburn. But I wondered just how much of the stories were true.”
