Phishing education available
Article body
According to research from Trend Micro “… 91% of cyberattacks begin with a spear-phishing email.” Phishing emails are a common threat since they are both easy and very effective. Awareness and education are the best tools available to combat phishing.
Accordingly, Auburn University has been enrolling employees in phishing campaigns this year with faculty to be enrolled before the end of April. Be on the lookout for suspicious emails and report them as suspicious messages. All it takes is one person to click a link or accept a fake DUO prompt to do serious damage to Auburn.
