Article body

Motorists commuting on sections of Lem Morrison Drive and Woodfield Drive will need to plan an alternate route during spring break, March 7-11.

The Lem Morrison Drive closure will take place across from the South Quad Parking Deck between Duncan Drive and the parking deck entry. The Woodfield Drive closure will be located across from the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center between College Street and the center’s eastern most driveway.

A map detailing the location of the closures is located on the Facilities Management Temporary Road and Facilities Closures page.

The closures will take place as contractors extend utilities across both road sections as a part of the Duncan Drive Extension and Infrastructure project.

The Duncan Drive Extension and Infrastructure project will construct a two-lane campus road that extends Duncan Drive from Lem Morrison Drive to Woodfield Drive. The project will also include campus utility system improvements, as well as site grading and utilities to support the College of Agriculture’s Transformation Gardens, along with a central greenway path connecting the Davis Arboretum to the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Visit Facilities’ Capital Projects page to learn more about this and other projects taking place on campus.
