Call for proposals for Innovations in SoTL Medical Education at Auburn University Conference

The Division of Faculty Affairs and Strategic Initiatives within the Harrison College of Pharmacy will sponsor a free conference for Auburn faculty and staff, June 9-10. The conference theme is Celebrating Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, or SoTL, in Medical Education at Auburn University.

Proposals are welcomed that describe SoTL research, called Lightning Rounds, and proposals for the SoTL Tank Competition. SoTL Tank will be competition loosely based on Shark Tank®, a popular television show. SoTL Tank Competition finalists will present a SoTL project before attendees and judges. The overall winner will receive a $500 SoTL mini-grant and a plaque. The audience favorite will also be recognized.

The deadline for Lightning Rounds and the SoTL Tank Competition is Friday, March 17. Registration will open mid-March. More details and information can be found on the conference website.
