Human Resources hosting Employee Appreciation Week

Human Resources is asking Auburn employees to mark their calendars April 25-29 for Employee Appreciation Week. This is a special time to recognize Auburn employees for their hard work and commitment to campus.
Below is the tentative schedule for this year:

Monday, April 25: Departmental Celebration– A list of recognition ideas is available on the Auburn University Human Resources website. Important: All events must adhere to Auburn University Spending Policies and Procedures.

Tuesday, April 26: National Walk at Work Day, noon to 1 p.m.– Walkers can start at one of four locations on campus: Harrison College of Pharmacy, Facilities Management-Building 1, the College of Veterinary Medicine and the East Glenn Administrative Complex.

Wednesday, April 27: Employee Appreciation Event (invitation only)- This event is being held to recognize employees with 40 years of service and our Employees of the Year. More information will be forthcoming.

Thursday, April 28: Lunch speaker Patrick Henry, noon to 1 p.m., Melton Student Center– Songwriter, SiriusXM Radio humorist and Auburn native Patrick Henry will share funny stories, songs and insights in honor of those who work to make Auburn University great. A limited number of tickets are available. The event will also be shared on Zoom.

Friday, April 29: Gift giveaway to employees, 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.– This includes “Years of Service” employees. (5, 10, 15, etc.) More information will be forthcoming.
