University Writing hosts a variety of Working on Writing, or WoW, workshops every semester, and next week focuses on voice and style.

This workshop will offer strategies and best practices on how to convey voice and style in your academic writing. We’ll discuss various forms of academic writing, how constraints from those types of writing can alter or affect your voice and style in written work, and how to preserve your voice while adhering to modern academic conventions in writing.
