Canvas help made easier with ServiceNow ticketing

The Biggio Center is continually working to improve the Canvas experience for everyone.

In an effort to offer more efficiency and transparency when requesting Canvas help, Biggio Tech has begun implementing ServiceNow ticketing. Faculty requesting Canvas help or reporting an incident should email This email generates a ServiceNow ticket which faculty can use to provide more information, track progress, ask additional questions and more.

Additionally, following faculty feedback, the Canvas Support help button introduced in fall 2020 will move from the bottom right-hand side of the screen to the built-in menu navigation on the left-hand side of the screen. Clicking the question mark icon labeled ‘Help’ will provide contextualized help guides right inside the learning management system with the goal of addressing questions in real time.
