Registration open for Scholarship of Teaching and Learning faculty learning community

The Biggio Center Faculty Fellows will facilitate a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, or SoTL, faculty learning community as a reading group. SoTL is the systematic study of teaching and learning. It brings a research lens of systematic and reflective inquiry to the classroom practice aimed to improve teaching and student learning. It is also referred to as “classroom research” or “teaching research.”

This group will meet biweekly throughout spring 2022 to discuss articles distributed prior to each session. Registration is open to teaching faculty, SoTL novices, SoTL experts, postdocs and graduate students who wish to share share teaching experience, opinions and research ideas. No prior experience with SoTL is required.
