Employees reminded of mandatory reporting responsibilities

All Auburn University employees are mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. Please take a moment to review the updated Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect Policy. If you know or have reasonable cause to suspect that child abuse or neglect has occurred:

1. Call 911 if the child is in imminent danger.
2. Do not question the child or the person suspected of improper behavior.
3. Report the information to the Department of Human Resources by phone, followed by a written report. Alabama DHR contact information is located here.
4. Inform your supervisor and the Executive Director of Campus Safety & Security.
