EagleCast Webinar Series presenting 'Filing 2021 Tax Returns and Planning for 2022'

Registration is now open for the next installment of EagleCast, the monthly webinar series hosted by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education, or OPCE. Joel Jones, C.P.A., C.G.M.A., will address recent tax law changes, provide insight to consider when preparing to file 2021 tax returns and offer tips for 2022 tax planning. His presentation takes place Tuesday, Jan. 25, through Zoom and is followed by a question-and-answer session.

Jones is a director and shareholder for Birmingham-based C.P.A. firm Kassouf & Co. Jones. He leads the firm’s Auburn location where he provides tax and consulting services to businesses and individuals operating in wholesale distribution, retail sales, real estate development, professional services and investments. He specializes in family-owned businesses, partnership and corporate taxation, multi-state taxation and not for profits. He leads continuing education courses for tax professionals as an instructor for the Auburn University Accounting and Tax Institute, an OPCE program area.

The EagleCast Webinar Series features experts from a variety of sectors including education, business, industry, public service and finance. The ongoing series presents information and skills essential for navigating today’s ever-changing world.
