The Korea Center-King Sejong Institute in the Auburn University Office of International Programs is offering four free month-long Korean language courses in February and March. Each course is beginner level and will cover the basic Korean alphabets and greetings. An in-person and online option is offered both months. Below are the specific times and locations for each class.

In February, the courses will be every Monday and Wednesday. Participants can register for in-person from 12-1 p.m. in the Korea Center, 244 Foy Hall or online from 5:30-6:30 p.m. In March, the courses will be every Tuesday and Thursday, and participants can attend in person from 12-1 p.m. in the Korea Center or online from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

“The Korea Center-King Sejong Institute is excited to offer these courses free of charge during the spring semester,” said Ellie Lee, Korea Center-King Sejong Institute deputy director. “We know finances are an important consideration for people, and with these free course options we believe more people have the opportunity to learn Korean.”

Registration for all four courses is now open and will close Jan. 23. Please fill out the application form here. For questions, email auksi@auburn.edu.
