Biggio Center hosting DEI workshop for faculty

The Biggio Center is hosting a workshop that aims to provide structure and support for faculty led diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, focusing on making immediate, actionable changes to improve both diversity, equity and inclusion content and pedagogy in their classes. Faculty members of all ranks as well as graduate students are welcome to join. Lunch will be provided.

This workshop will be led by Tal Peretz, an associate professor of Sociology and Women’s & Gender Studies and a Faculty Fellow at the Biggio Center for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning. He has engaged in and studied men's anti-sexist and anti-violence activism for over a decade in an effort to improve the effectiveness of men's work for gender justice and to better understand gender, intersectional inequality and social movements.
