Auburn University Libraries has built their annual holiday book tree on the second floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. Constructed from volumes of the National Union Catalog, the library book tree stands approximately seven feet tall. Through the fall finals period library users are invited to come see the tree and take advantage of a once-a-year snapshot opportunity that captures the academic spirit of Auburn. It is also a great place to take a picture of the December-graduating senior with cap and gown.

This year the Special Collections and Archives department has also put together a student-initiated and led exhibit project that highlights some of the holiday books and archival items from Special Collections, as well as books from the general stacks areas of the library – especially the juvenile collection. This exhibit is located on the first floor of the RBD Library.

The Auburn University Libraries book tree and holiday exhibit are accessible during all regular library hours.
