Happy holidays to you and your families from Auburn University!

After an unprecedented and challenging year, Auburn and the Office of Inclusion and Diversity, or OID, hope everyone can spend time with family, friends and loved ones from near and far this holiday season.

Over this holiday season, many in the Auburn community will celebrate and share traditions around Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and other closely held cultural and religious moments. As the Auburn Family reflects on the holiday season, the university encourages all to embrace the spirit of Auburn to learn about the various traditions that are cherished within our strong community.

There are many opportunities across campus to come together to convene, celebrate and learn. Events and programs hosted across campus in honor of this holiday season can be found using the Auburn University Public Events Calendar and the AUinvolve Events Calendar.

No matter one’s individual beliefs, this season serves as a time to embrace community, give thanks and share in acts of empathy and kindness. These values are central to Auburn University, and the university hopes everyone makes time as the year winds down to show compassion to all members of the Auburn community.

For more information on Auburn’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and other notes of cultural recognition, please visit the OID through its website, on Instagram, new DEI landing page or by signing up for the OID newsletter.
