Rural Studio to be featured on Alabama Public Television on Friday

Auburn University’s Rural Studio, a flagship off-campus design-build program in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction, or CADC, will be featured on Alabama Public Television at 7:30 p.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 26.

Auburn President Jay Gogue, Provost Bill Hardgrave and CADC Dean Vini Nathan were interviewed for the hour-long episode about the one-of-a-kind program that is headquartered in Newbern, Alabama. A program of CADC’s School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture, Rural Studio provides affordable housing in Alabama’s Black Belt region and has educated more than 1,200 students through the construction of more than 200 projects.
