Discover Auburn Lecture Series ends with 'Demerits, Discipline Courts and Student Misbehavior at Auburn'

The final program of the fall 2021 Discover Auburn Lecture Series will feature Greg Schmidt, head of Auburn University Libraries’ Special Collections and Archives department, with a lecture titled “Demerits, Discipline Courts, and Student Misbehavior: A historical look at students getting in trouble at Auburn.”

Schmidt has dug through more than a century of records and newspaper articles on students and the administrations that struggled to maintain order on campus.

The program will take place at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, in the Caroline Marshall Draughon Auditorium on the ground floor of the Ralph Brown Draughon Library. Attendees may also join the lecture via Zoom by clicking here.
