Mojo@AU Conversational English Program is a collaboration between the Office of International Programs and Advancity to help international students improve their conversational skills and engage more comfortably on Auburn’s campus.
“The program is designed to help our international students become more confident in their English-speaking skills, and thereby more comfortable engaging with campus life, while also increasing our domestic students’ interaction with the international student population,” said Andrew Gillespie, assistant provost for international programs.
This program is being fully funded, so it is free to international students at Auburn. To register as a learner, click here.
So far, Mojo@AU has proven to be highly beneficial for international students.
“The first thing I noticed was that I understood much more in class, then it was easier to be part of a group conversation in English,” said a Brazilian participant.
Another had this to say, “Mojo is great! The conversations are fun and interesting. There’s no pressure, just a relaxed time to practice speaking English.”
