The Plainsman, The Circle and The Glomerata win Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Association Pinnacle awards

The Associated Collegiate Press awards Pacemakers in a variety of categories, and The Plainsman, The Circle and The Glomerata were recognized.

The Plainsman won the Online Pacemaker award, and any student media outlet is eligible to enter this category. In the Associated Collegiate Press' 100th year, they named the top 100 Pacemaker winners in their history, and The Plainsman made the list. Additionally, The Plainsman is in the Associated Collegiate Press Hall of Fame.

The Circle won the Literary Arts Magazine Pacemaker in the four-year school category for the second year in a row, and The Glomerata placed third over all in the Best Yearbook Cover Pacemaker category.

The College Media Association Pinnacle Awards honored The Plainsman as well. The Plainsman placed third in the Four-Year-Less-Than-Weekly Newspaper of the Year category and was an honorable mention for Best Editorial Cartoon.
