GEDI's Cooper and Washington pen article featured in The Alabama Municipal Journal

The fall 2021 issue of The Alabama Municipal Journal has been released and features an article entitled "The Foundational Components of Human Resources," written by Davis Cooper and Katrina Washington, human resources consultants with the University Outreach Government and Economic Development Institute, or GEDI.

The article discusses the four key components of personnel systems: Job descriptions, job classifications and pay plans, policies and procedures manuals and performance management systems.

GEDI's Human Resources Consulting unit assists municipalities to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, and to create and cultivate personnel systems which provide positive, sustainable cultures that permeate and shape work environments.
