College of Education’s ‘Twins’ celebrate homecoming weekend with readings, book signings

Fourth-year EAGLES student Anna Moates and recent College of Education graduate Anna Penland had a busy homecoming weekend on the Plains as they promoted the release of their children’s book, “Almost Twins: A Story of Friendship and Inclusion.”

From readings at Auburn-area elementary schools, to book signings on and around campus, the “twin” authors spent the Sept. 24-26 weekend celebrating the production of their book, which came about after they met through the college’s EAGLES program.
