Duo Mobile redesign coming mid-October

A new look and feel for Duo Mobile is coming mid-October.

Duo Mobile is being redesigned to improve the overall end-user experience. These changes will be part of the next evolution of Duo Mobile.

The rolling release of version 4.0.0 of Duo Mobile is scheduled for the following timeframes:

For iOS: Oct. 11–18

For Android: Oct. 11–15

For faculty and staff, this means:

• A new, simplified navigation with more visible in-app alerts and the re-positioning of the approve and deny buttons when responding to a push

• Improvements to the enrollment process

• Better accessibility options including color ratios, screen reader support and variable font sizes.

It is important to ensure that the devices are updated with the most current operating systems so that the apps function properly and data is secure.

The update to Duo mobile requires a minimum of iOS 13 or Android 8.
