The Outreach Global Office is pleased to announce its inaugural Global Community Day Festival for Auburn, Opelika and surrounding communities. The kick-off celebration is scheduled for April 1 2022, in Downtown Opelika from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the main event being April 2 2022, at the Jule Collins Smith Museum, Sunny Slope and the Gogue Performing Arts Center.

Global Community Day Festival is a day for bringing international and non-international communities together to learn and experience the global culture, history and related opportunities. Outreach Global Office believes that uniting communities to experience diverse perspective will enhance awareness and critical thinking about social issues such as cultural differences, customs, traditions, religion, politics and the world economy.

Join us on the grounds of the Jule Collins Smith Museum, OLLI at Sunny Slope and the Gogue Center to discover arts and crafts, culture, fashion, games, music and “Tastes of the World.” Program sponsors include AU University Outreach, the city of Auburn, the city of Opelika, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art, the Gogue Performing Arts Center, the National Forum for Black Public Administrators-East Central Chapter and Spicer’s Music LLC, in Auburn, Alabama.
