Facilities Management will make changes to the campus access control system to support football weekend gameday operations. The campus access control system is how most exterior doors on campus are locked. Starting Friday, Sept. 3 at midnight, the access control system will go into “gameday” mode operations for all campus facilities. It will remain in gameday mode until midnight, Saturday, Sept. 4 and then will return to normal operations. While in gameday mode, faculty, students and staff, who normally have card-swipe access to campus buildings, will not be allowed to enter buildings unless their departments or college/school/unit has previously requested that they be granted access for a specific building on gamedays. This is done in an effort to maximize the safety and security of our campus buildings as Auburn welcomes tens of thousands of visitors to campus.

This will take place for each of the home games by going to gameday mode Friday at midnight and returning to normal operations Saturday at midnight. This will apply Sept. 10 -11, Sept. 24-25, Oct. 8-9, Oct. 29-30, Nov. 12-13 and Nov. 26-27.
