The Biggio Center is accepting applications for the New Faculty Scholars cohort of 2021-2022. New Faculty Scholars, or NFS, is the longest running faculty learning community on campus and facilities and 2:6 ratio of mentors to new faculty. The program integrates several professional development opportunities to enhance new faculty success by increasing your knowledge of Auburn’s institutional culture and supporting interdisciplinary mentoring and informal networking opportunities.

Faculty meet monthly for Lunch and Learns with the full group. These meetings provide introductions to key university leaders and opportunities. Faculty also receive small group mentoring through Colleague Circles, led by a pair of faculty mentors - one post- and one pre-tenure. There is also an opportunity to earn a digital badge to add as an artifact to promotion and tenure files.

Tenure-track faculty, clinical faculty and lecturers within the first two years of employment at Auburn University are invited to apply. Click here for more information on the program and application instructions.
