Invitation to help students practice interviewing during Mock Interview Day

A mock interview is a great way for students at Auburn to become familiar with interview questions and interview etiquette. COVID-19 has not only changed the typical format of preparing and starting a career for all students, but it has also changed the typical format and procedures employers take to hire new employees. Participating in a virtual and in-person mock interview is a way to give students a real-world interview experience guided by professionals actively working in a variety of hands-on business roles. By the end of this Mock Interview Day, students will be more confident in interviewing in any format.

Mock Interview Day will take place over two days:
Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021 8 a.m.-4 p.m., via Zoom
Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Auburn University

Participants do not have to interview all day; they are able to choose the day(s) and time(s) that work best with theri schedule.

By serving in this role, participants will be able to do the following:
Provide students with feedback on their interview skills in a low-stress environment
Provide students the opportunity to start building a professional network by interacting with employers and business leaders in different formats
Offer strategies to help increase student confidence when interviewing in person and virtually
Create a rapport with students that may yield in future internship/employment opportunities
Provide valuable feedback to students and enhance student professional growth based on real-world experience
Market your brand to future employees
