Sustainability Picnic featuring sustainability-related academics, opportunities, student organizations to be held Aug. 18

The Sustainability Picnic is a chance to learn about sustainability at Auburn and connect with programs, student groups and other opportunities that make a difference. Participants can enjot local food, fun, door prizes and music at this no-waste event. They can also meet the local farmers that provide food for the campus, in addition to representatives from the sponsors: Office of Sustainability, Tiger Dining, the Arboretum, the Waste Reduction and Recycling Department, Academic Sustainability Programs, and the Natural Resources Management Major.

The picnic will be held Wednesday, Aug. 18, at 4:30 p.m. at the south end of the Davis Arboretum near the Old Rotation. The rain date will be Aug. 25 at the same time and location.
