The Alabama Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education, or AHMRE, project wants couples to invest in their relationship and earn money for survey completion while they do it. The AHMRE project is currently registering couples for class offerings beginning the week of Aug. 16. Couples can pick Tuesday or Wednesday night.

All classes are free, held in the evening from 6-8 p.m. and will be in-person in the Auburn-Opelika area. Meals, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and childcare supports are offered for each class session. All class offerings will present ELEVATE, an evidence-based relationship education program that teaches couples how to take their relationships to the next level by focusing on core relationship skills.

All couples who register will have the opportunity to participate in a program impact study and receive payment for completing four surveys over one year. Each person can earn up to $160 over one year for completing the impact study surveys, or $320 per couple. Couples will also be eligible for a program completion payment of $20 if they complete all sessions.
