The flexibility and national recognition of the Auburn Online MBA draw business professionals from across the country to build their business skills through the Harbert College of Business.

The reach of this program is especially evident when viewing Poets and Quants’ “Best and Brightest Online MBAs: Class of 2021,” featuring student Christian Reece, of Junction City, Colorado, and alumnus Brad Sonoda, of Gilbert, Arizona. Auburn was among 27 MBA programs invited by the online resource for graduate education to recommend two students for “Best and Brightest” recognition.

Both excelled in the challenging online program despite juggling demanding professional careers. Reece is an executive director with Club 20, a non-partisan political advocacy coalition for western Colorado, and Capt. Sonoda, director of logistics at 9th Hospital Center, US Army, pursued his degree while on active duty.

“From the moment I stepped foot on campus for orientation to my final capstone project, every member of the Auburn team regularly emphasized how we are all part of the Auburn family. I never expected that I would find my closet full of Auburn gear and hear myself yelling ‘War Eagle’ in the middle of Denver International Airport at a fellow member of the family,” Reece said.

“I selected Auburn to complete my MBA because they are ranked one of the nation’s best online programs. Due to my military obligations, in-person attendance was not an option when I was applying to business schools. I sought a program that had mastered bridging online and in-person learning without compromising the quality of education and Auburn was that school,” Sonoda said.
