Students to have no classes on June 28 in commemoration of Juneteenth

Auburn University will commemorate the Juneteenth holiday with a day of no classes for students on June 28. The day of commemoration comes in light of President Joe Biden signing a bill on Thursday that established Juneteenth as a federal holiday. Due to hundreds of parents and students having already traveled to the area for Camp War Eagle and many students already being scheduled to take classes, the university remains open today.
