Audiology student shuffles finals to become bone marrow donor

College of Liberal Arts student Becca Broussard, who is in her third year working toward a doctorate in audiology, worked with her professors to take her spring semester finals early in order to donate bone marrow to help someone suffering from leukemia.

The 2018 communication disorders graduate became involved in the Be The Match program through AU Dance Marathon while an undergraduate student at Auburn and recently jumped at the chance to help someone in need. The Faunsdale, Alabama, native hopes to become an audiologist in West Alabama after graduating in the spring of 2023.
