Student mayor Williams-Cole to attend law school

Recent College of Liberal Arts graduate Messiah Williams-Cole—who made national headlines last year by becoming mayor of his hometown of Camp Hill, Alabama—is taking his studies to the next level: law school.

Williams-Cole graduated earlier this month with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and will attend the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law while continuing to serve as mayor.

He recently talked about his future plans and time as an Auburn student with Interdisciplinary Studies lecturer Robin Sexton in this Q&A.
