Auburn is offering helpful information about scheduling a second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine for those who will be away from campus following the end of the spring semester.

Those who will need to receive their second dose after moving back to their home away from Auburn should begin contacting providers in that area now to schedule their second dose appointment. In such a case, you’ll want to make sure the provider is administering the same vaccine product you received through Auburn. For example, if you received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine through Auburn, you will need to get the second dose of Pfizer as close as possible to the 21-day interval through your hometown provider. Meanwhile, if you won’t be in Auburn at the exact date of your scheduled second dose inoculation but would like to still receive the dose in Auburn soon thereafter you can contact ahealthieru@auburn.edu to possibly reschedule to a date that works better with your availability.
