The 20th Collegiate Wheelchair Tennis Nationals was held on the United States Tennis Association's campus. The team is comprised of freshman Jack Pierre, Joe Rafter and affiliate member Matthew Anderson. Auburn was one of eight colleges to compete at nationals and finished the team competition in sixth place, ahead of Clemson University and University of Alabama Huntsville. In the individual competition Jack Pierre finished in fourth place while Joe Rafter finished ninth. Both Pierre and Rafter had a quick turnaround after they helped the Auburn wheelchair basketball team to a 3rd place finish just weeks before tennis nationals.

Auburn's Adapted Athletic program started in 2009 and has grown over the years to offer wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis. Auburn is one of two universities across the country that has both a competitive wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis.
