Guidelines and protocols for in-person summer youth programs announced

Risk Management and Safety has released the guidelines and protocols for in-person summer youth programs. The guidance provided is adapted from recommended practices and will be updated as additional information becomes available from the Centers for Disease Control, the state of Alabama and the Alabama Department of Public Health. They are designed to assist units in delivering various types of youth programs safely and are subject to revision. All summer youth programs are expected to adhere to the university’s Youth Protection Policy and must have approval through the Campus Event Planning System.
