Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art to provide remote series of livestream events

The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art at Auburn University will host a trio of engaging livestream events in April and May that are open to everyone to take part in.

The series, titled “Bernini and the Roman Baroque” begins at 10:30 a.m. CT on Thursday, April 8, with “Coffee with the Curator” and continues at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, with “Live from Chigi Palace.” Those events will include discussion led by Francesco Petrucci—an international authority on 17th- and 18th-century art and architecture and author of numerous books and articles on painting, sculpture, architecture and art history—as well as Cindi Malinick, director and chief curator of The Jule.

The final event of the trio, “Wine + Wonder,” is set for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, and will feature celebrated visual artist Christy Lee Rogers and Malinick.
