Post-holiday operations update

Auburn University will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, as scheduled. The university’s current operational modifications will apply through Sunday, Jan. 24. Employees who are able to work remotely may continue to do so through Jan. 24. Additional information regarding the phased return of employees will be provided by HR.
In preparation for operations to resume next week, please be aware of the following information:

Spring semester classes begin Jan. 11
The spring semester will proceed as scheduled. In an effort to gradually increase campus density, faculty offering face-to-face classes may choose to begin the semester remotely for up to two weeks. Faculty will communicate any changes to their students.Residence halls will reopen on Friday, Jan. 8. Students who need to make alternate arrangements should email housing@auburn.edu.

ECAL available for eligible employees
Auburn has extended the Emergency COVID-19 Administrative Leave (ECAL) through May 31, 2021, for employees who have been impacted by COVID-19. Read more about ECAL, including eligibility requirements and qualifying reasons, here. -
Face coverings requirement, event restrictions remain
Face coverings must be worn at all times on campus, indoors and outdoors. Limited exceptions to this policy can be read here.
Events with more than 50 attendees without prior approval are not permitted. Read the full events policy here.
