The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, or AUHCC, is presenting the 2020 edition of Auburn Gingerbread Village beginning Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. and running through New Year’s Day.

New buildings of significance have been added in the past few years, including the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center, the chosen charity of AUHCC Storybook Farm and this year’s new addition—the Ag Heritage Park Pavilion, which is also known as the “Red Barn” and was recently renovated through a collaboration of Auburn’s College of  Agriculture, the College of Human Sciences’ interior designers and the university’s facilities division.

We are very thankful for the craftsmanship of professor Paul Holley with the McWhorter School of Building Science for creating the scale wooden frames that all the gingerbread, candy and icing adorn.

This year, due to COVID-19 protocols, there will be no food and beverage served nor handbell choir on the opening day.  Special social distancing floor signage will assist families to navigate the directional flow safely allowing for full viewing and still providing Christmas cheer for one and all.
