This year’s “Auburn Research: Faculty Symposium” will be held virtually through Canvas and Zoom Jan. 29 to recognize the research and creative scholarship of Auburn and Auburn Montgomery faculty.

The day will kick off with a welcome by Jim Weyhenmeyer, Auburn vice president for research and economic development, followed by prerecorded, moderated Auburn Talks. The talks will cover four research pillars: improve health and health care in Alabama and across the nation; create intelligent solutions; create a more secure world; and build resilient societies.

Five, live Zoom roundtables will feature topics such as intellectual property, telehealth and communicating science. More than 100 faculty will have their research posters displayed online in a virtual exhibit hall. All talks, roundtables and posters will remain available online during the weeks after the event to allow for future viewing.

The Research Symposia Committee will announce soon the schedule of events. For more information, contact Committee Chair Rodney Greer.
