University Writing hosting workshop on organization and flow on Oct. 28
Article body
University Writing invites students, faculty and staff to attend its Organization and “Flow” workshop on Oct. 28 from 2-3:30 p.m. via Zoom.
When asked what makes a piece of writing good, oftentimes the answer is, "It just flows." But what does that mean? This workshop unpacks what it means for text to "flow" and identifies strategies to help you improve your project's organization, transitional elements and progression of ideas. During the session, participants will have the opportunity to apply strategies for reorganizing a project's paragraphs, developing strategic and effective transitions, and varying sentence structure to create an overall rhythm to their writing.
