Gov. Ivey appoints COSAM's Ewald to Alabama STEM Council

Mary Lou Ewald, director of Outreach in the College of Sciences and Mathematics, or COSAM, has been apointed by Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey to a new state council for STEM.

Gov. Ivey announced the new council last month after signing Executive Order No. 721, which established this group that will advise state leaders and collaborate on STEM-related topics involving K-12 students.
