The next installment of EagleCast, a monthly webinar series hosted by the Office of Professional and Continuing Education, will feature a panel of experts experienced in preparing systems and protocols for communication during a crisis situation.

Panel members will discuss their first-hand experiences in a wide range of crises including severe weather, crime, the recent health pandemic and public relations incidents. Panelists include Mike Clardy, vice president for communications and marketing; Rick Rainer, former principal of Enterprise High School; Jay Jones, sheriff of Lee County; Rita Smith, director of Lee County Emergency Management Agency; and Laura Eason, chaplain of East Alabama Medical Center.

The webinar will take place on July 21, through Zoom. Attendees are invited to submit questions for the panelists during the registration process. Registration is free and open to the public.

The EagleCast webinar series features experts from a variety of sectors including education, business, industry, public service and finance. The ongoing series presents information and skills essential for navigating today’s ever-changing world.
