Tiger Dining to reopen Chick-fil-A and Starbucks

To support students, faculty and staff when campus reopens for instruction, Tiger Dining will be reopening two of its most popular locations.

Beginning June 29, the Student Center Chick-fil-A and Starbucks will be open from 7:45 a.m.-3 p.m. on Mondays-Thursdays and 7:45 a.m.-2 p.m. on Fridays. These locations will be operating a cashless system. Payments may be made via Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit card, credit card or GET, the Tiger Card app. Grubhub may also be used to place an order.

To provide an enhanced level of safety this fall, Tiger Dining is actively implementing technology to provide for digital ordering in all locations, contactless ordering, payment and pickup and accommodating safety concerns for customers.

Tiger Dining will prepare for and continue to follow all local, state and national guidelines in terms of physical and social distancing and safety when restaurants reopen and will continue to update practices as new guidelines are established throughout the semester.

Some specific practices that will be implemented with safety in mind are social distancing markings with floor decals, fewer cash registers operating, directional signs and cashless operations.
